Yes, I tend to let some of my vehicles go until I have a great test bed ... my daily driver Scion Xb is the teat bed ..
As you can see it got pretty bad ... lots of bugs, grime, some type of roof mold, bird bombs, burnt on brake dust on the hub caps and even some iron deposits on the rear hatch and bumper ...
Products used :
Chenille Wash Mitt
Mesh Bug Microfiber
Super Slick and Wax
Bug Squash
Spray and Rinse
Ph Neutral Iron remover (coming soon)
Spray and Gloss - drying agent
Waffle Weave Towel
First Step was the rinse and spraying of Bug Squash on the front
Then some of the pH Neutral Iron Remover on the rear .. I did find more iron spots hiding after lifting the rear hatch
Started washing at this point and didn`t take a lot of pictures ... 2 buckets , grit guard, 2 mitts, and mesh bug microfiber (yes a silver one)
As I was washing the roof, I noticed it was not coming completely clean with just the chenille mitt, so i added the Mesh Bug Microfiber to the washing and the mold started coming right off ..
I also sprayed the roof with the Iron Remover (no picture) and there was also iron in the mold ...
Here is the Iron remover at work ...
The rest are afters .... hope you enjoy ,, last few are the Merlin shots
thanks for looking
