Brand Safety Hub in Campaign Manager

Last updated: 4 weeks ago

With the Brand Safety Hub, you can monitor and control your advertising activity on LinkedIn and across our network of publishers:

  • LinkedIn - Block your ads from appearing on the right rail (right side) of specified LinkedIn profiles and Pages. Keep in mind, you can only create a block list for profiles and Pages, not an allow list.
  • LinkedIn Audience Network - Block or allow your ads from appearing on the specified partner sites and apps when you enable LinkedIn Audience Network for your campaign.

LinkedIn profiles and Pages and the Brand Safety Hub

Block your ads from appearing on the right rail (right side) of LinkedIn profiles and Pages that you specify in the block list document. When uploading your block list for LinkedIn profile and Pages placements, keep in mind:

  • When creating a block list for profiles and Pages, you can only create block lists, not allow lists.
  • Block lists for profiles and Pages currently don't work on groups, Showcase Pages, or School Pages.
  • Block lists operate at the root domain level. You don’t need to place a subdomain or subdirectory on your block list. For example, placing https://www.linkedin.com/company/linkedin/ on your block list will block all domains under this domain, such as https://www.linkedin.com/company/linkedin/about/ and https://www.linkedin.com/company/linkedin/posts/.
  • You can upload a list containing up to 10,000 profiles or Pages.
  • When adding a profile or Page, include the entire URL, starting with https://www.linkedin.com/ and ending with the profile or Page. For example, you would need to add a URL such as https://www.linkedin.com/in/[profilename]
  • Please note URLs for profiles and Pages can change over time. Advertisers are responsible for ensuring their block lists remain up to date and accurate.

LinkedIn Audience Network and the Brand Safety Hub

The LinkedIn Audience Network is a curated network of third-party apps and sites that professional audiences actively engage on. It has built-in brand safety integrations powered by industry leaders such Integral Ad Science (IAS), Pixalate, and DoubleVerify.

With Brand Safety Hub, you can:

  • Download and review the list of publishers that make up LinkedIn Audience Network.
  • Create custom allow lists and block lists, which enable you to prioritize the publishers that meet your brand safety guidelines.
  • Apply your own DoubleVerify-sourced custom brand suitability settings across your LinkedIn Audience Network-enabled campaigns.

As with all campaign settings, LinkedIn endeavors to honor your block list and allow list. Under certain cases, placement outside your intended targeting can occur. If you have questions about your campaign settings or delivery, please discuss with your sales representative.
