You can track your campaign performance using both the Overview and Advertise pages in Campaign Manager. The Overview page gives you a high-level summary of your advertising campaigns’ overall performance. For more detail, you can use the Advertise page, which offers a detailed reporting dashboard, performance charts and professional demographics, and an option to export reports.

When you sign in to Campaign Manager, you’ll start on the Overview page. From this page, you can view various sections to help you understand the overall performance of your advertising campaigns on LinkedIn. If you’re new to Campaign Manager, you’ll also see tips to help finish setting up your ad account.

From the reporting dashboard, you can easily switch your view between accounts, campaign groups, campaigns, and ads from the dashboard’s navigation bar. Make sure you have the correct tab selected when viewing metrics, accessing charts or professional demographics, or exporting a report.
Adjust the campaign groups, campaigns, or ads viewed by using Search or the Filters dropdown menu.

Search helps you find specific campaign groups, campaigns, or ads by name or ID.

Filters allow you to view information based on status, campaign objective, ad type, or channel. The filters available vary for the Campaign Groups, Campaigns, and Ads tab.
Change the metrics viewed by using the Columns dropdown menu.

Create custom column views or select from default column views, such as Performance or Sponsored Messaging, to view different metrics.
Select a Breakdown to compare performance for conversions, LinkedIn Audience Network, carousel image cards, device type, or placements.

The Conversions breakdown allows you view how many conversions were received for each conversion added to the campaign.

When you enable the LinkedIn Audience Network, the On/Off Network breakdown allows you to view reporting on ads displayed on LinkedIn versus the ads displayed on an Audience Network publisher.

The Carousel breakdown allows you to view reporting for each card of your carousel image ad.

The Impression Device Type breakdown allows you to view your performance based on what devices people were using when they saw your ads. Keep in mind, some conversion and reach and frequency metrics are currently not available for breakdown by device type.

When you enable the LinkedIn Audience Network, the Placement breakdown allows you to view reporting on ads placed:
- On the LinkedIn Feed.
- On an Audience Network publisher’s website that are shown as a standalone ad within the content.
- On an Audience Network publisher’s website as an in-stream ad. This option only applies for video ads.
To better visualize the performance of your campaigns and ads, you can view charts and professional demographics by selecting the corresponding button below the Ads tab.
Professional Demographics allow you to view information about the types of individuals who interacted with your ads.
Conversation Ad Flowcharts allow you to compare how many button clicks were received for each action in your conversation ads.
To view performance metrics or professional demographics in a downloaded CSV file, you can click the Export button.
Various metrics are available to measure the performance, engagement, conversions, leads, and more, for your campaigns and ads. Types of metrics include:
- Performance - Includes metrics such as spend, impressions, clicks, and average CTR
- Delivery - Includes metrics such as reach and average frequency
- Engagement - Includes metrics such as reactions, comments, shares, and follows
- Conversions and Leads - Includes metrics related to conversion tracking and Lead Gen Forms
- Sponsored Messaging - Includes metrics specific to Sponsored Messaging ad formats such as sends and opens
- Video - Includes metrics specific to video ads such as views and view rate
- Budget and Bid - Includes metrics such as daily budget, total budget, and average daily spend
- Job Applicants - Includes metrics specific to single job ads such as job applications and job application rate
- Lead Funnel - Includes metrics to monitor your qualified lead performance: Qualified Leads and Cost per Qualified Lead
- Attribution Model - Includes metrics specific to how interactions with ads are credited for a conversion across your campaigns: Leads and Leads (Data-driven attribution)
