Today was the first day I used my duo-spur. It works well, but there is polish all throughout the plastic spurs. Can I just run this under some hot water or does it even matter that it`s all caked up?

I think I may have a different model tool, but I cleaned it up when I cleaned my pads in a dawn solution. It just felt better to me. It`s going to sit for some months before I use it again and I don`t want to worry about it.

Shouldn`t be a big deal. Soak it in hot water and blow it out with compressed air.
