Klassing Golf Clubs!

Anyone here wax and seal their golf clubs? I freaked out the wife yesterday. She came into the garage while I was KAIO`ng my Driver:LOLOL. She asked what I was doing, and I told her it helps the trajectory and wind resistance!:lol Seems to help tho.....

I use Z2 on all my woods--helps keep them looking new longer. Don`t get it on the face of the club though!!!

Scratrch X also works great to remove those pesky sky marks!!!!!!!!!

I optiseal the top of all my metals.......

Truer words were never spoken. The fella`s on the first tee always ask me how I keep my clubs so clean. They all laugh after I tell them I wax my clubs!!

Whats good to use on grass stains on the head of the club? Then to polish it back to perfection. My dad used steel wool on his, but that might be a bit harsh, no?

If you mean on the painted surface you could use ScatchX as mentioned above, but I don`t think I`d use it on the face of any club. I just use diluted car wash soap in a spray bottle to clean the clubs with a small brush for the grooves so it doen`t remove the sealant on the painted surfaces.

Yep, I think I used some XMT 360 on my driver last time. Might try some 105 this time!

I used Megs plastix on the woods before I bought my Burner Draw and worked great. Mind you the marks weren`t all that bad. Magic eraser works great on the sweet spot. Just don`t wax or seal that spot:usa

I`d suggest the slickest LSP as possible. It should reduce sidespin-although technically it is against the rules.

I polish my irons probably once a year with my dremel and a cloth polishing wheel attatchment. Otherwise, I just wet half of my golf towel, scrub them well and dry em. I don`t worry to much about them, but I do like to get them clean. My brother in law calls me "sally" for doing it... he doesn`t even keep his headcover on his brand new Cleveland HiBore driver. He rips it off before the round and lets it bash around in the back of the cart and then when we`re done he puts the cover back on. He hates the way I keep my "club condoms" on my woods.

I`ve been looking at my irons, thinking about doing some sort of polishing to em. Can`t see any negatives from it

DG 501 works wonders on scratches on the woods. Leaves a wonderful shine too. I hate looking at blemishes on the clubheads while addressing the ball.

For irons its important to keep the grooves clean. I don`t polish the faces but clean faces allow you to see the ball marks for checking how consistent you hit shots on the sweet spot.
