I`m planning a good detail on my silver accord soon. Will wash, clay, and probably go with klasse aio followed by a few coats of glaze. When washing weekly whats the best way to remove bugs without harming the wax or sealer.

After using klasse AIO , apply two coates of Klasse SG 12 hours apart,it gives a light/silver colour paint a great shine and makes the metallic flakes pop.
If you need to clean bird poop ,try using water first to soak the stuff and then use Poorboy`s Bug Squash to remove it,bug squash does not harm your LSP.

Mix up a soap solution or ONR or something similar and let it dwell. I usually do this a few times, seems to work alright on the stuff that is less than a few days old. Tough stuff you will probably need something like what was mentioned.
The quicker you get to it the better. I check my front almost daily for bugs/garbage.

I got the pinnacle bug sponge and it works great for bugs and tar. Like Brad said check daily and they`ll be much, much easier to get off.

Some LSPs (Last Step Products, i.e., wax/sealant) are a lot more bug-resistant than others. The Klasse Sealant Glaze is good, but Collinite 476S paste wax might be even better (close call IME). Get a good four (or more) layers of the KSG on there and you should be OK.
It`s sorta funny...the vehicles I use wax on hardly *ever* get etching from bugs, even when they`re both really bad and on there for a long time (extended roadtrips), but some of my sealed vehicles get etching from the bugs quite readily
I almost always just clay bugs off during the regular wash, gently enough that it doesn`t compromise my LSP.Originally Posted by Disturbd
Really, it won`t strip LSP?!? Hmmm...that`s interesting, I might have to reconsider trying that stuff :think:Originally Posted by jscort98
I`d be a little careful with that, under magnification it marred my paint a little bit. I do like it for windshields though.
