alot of people report having varying results with IW845, but so far so good with my application on my car. I have also had great results with UPGP so far going strong at 4 months on a customers car....

Not to mention that we are in the middle of summer here in Chicago and the car gets washed about once every 2 weeks or so. I will be trying Duragloss in a few weeks and hope that it holds up a bit better.

The summer season, and the fact that you washed every two weeks probably contributed to your Collinite not lasting that long.

Keep in mind, I applied the 845 for the single reason that I KNEW that I was not going to be washing my car during the winter months and wanted something I knew could protect it for four or so months. Granted, the beading at the end of the four months was not razor sharp, but still none the less it was being protected.

If you do a search for Collinite you will find more cases of Collinite`s long lasting durability. :up

I researched it prior to purchase, which is how I know it is "supposed" to last long. Perhaps the touchless car wash I occasionally take my car to had something to do with my application not lasting as long, but if a wax claims to be long lasting I expect it to act as such even with repeated washings.

Yep, many have had great luck using 501. It is a very effective paint cleaner, and leaves a great base for 601/105.

Perhaps, those touchless washes can be pretty hard on LSP`s.
