    is it necessary to apply wax after the polishing ? if not what happen anymore.

    You should protect the paint with a sealant or wax after it is polished. If not, you will be polishing again very soon......

    If you are finished polishing you should definitely apply wax because at that point the paint is completely bare and unprotected. I`d use some prep-all or IPA (Isopropyl Alchohol) to remove any polishing oils or residue that might be left to make sure your LSP (Last Step Product) bonds properly.
