Been doing a lot of reading here - what an awesome site. Anyway, I have a 2010 Toyota Camry Hybrid, Barcelona Red, that I love. got it used. it has an area on the back bumper that looks like it was backed into a wall or post. the paint is gouged in several areas wtihout actually damaging the bumper. The gouges do go through the paint to the black plastic bumper shell. I also have a small area in the front lower bumper below grill that is the same way. The gouges are just a little to big for using a touch up brush. Other than paying a fortune to have bumper painted I`m wondering if it is even feasable to think about doing it with touch-up spray cans. anyone care to comment or need more info.

Take your bumper covers off yourself and take them to a body shop you trust. Should be between 200-300 for one, maybe you can get both done for $400.

Here is what will happen if you try to touch them up. First you will spend lots of time and get results you won`t like. You`ll end up making a bigger mess. Then if you are lucky, you will get it looking decent from 10 feet away. Then in a year, the spot repair will start peeling away and you`ll be back to square one, while having wasted a lot of money and time.
