From what I understand Mothers will be releasing a few new products in the spring of 2005. The public will get the first viewing at Sema. Any one else hear about this?

I know of one tool that they are going to release - a polishing tool with different attachments. I do not know all the specs, but know that it will help a great deal in polishing chrome and aluminum. Rumor also has it that they are going to release a professional line of products.

    Sorry, but not correct.

DavidB and others, sorry but mum`s the word. We`d be hypocrites if we required people to sign nondisclosures and then I spilled the beans here. After the products are annonced at SEMA, I`ll be glad to fill you in.

I have no intent to turn it into cheap selfpromotion of our new products, though. That`s not fair to DB or sponsors of this site.

This line has already been released. It`s intended for use with rotary only. Some online vendors like Autobarn and Wax station already have them listed on their sites.*

The professional products look like they are worth trying. Pretty basic as to what is offered: Heavy duty rubbing compound, rubbing compound, light and dark colored car polish (for removing swirl marks, haze ect., a Glaze, and a wax. The descriptions say the polishes/compounds do not have any fillers or any other unpaintable stuff (not exact wording ).

The same disclaimer as above ..."this is not a plug..."

I recieved a pamphlet from Forrest with the products listed in it.

SEMA show starts Tuesday (I think that`s Nov 2) in Las Vegas. Corey - I can`t confirm if Martha is on the labels because telling you before the launch might be construed as insider trading, and I don`t look good in stripes, even if they make me appear taller and slimmer

I am sure they will be good products. In fact, I don`t consider the NXT line a leap from Meguiars. I use both NXT tech wax and Mothers reflections, and I think reflections is better overall. Shinier, easier to apply and a joy to remove. With a good clean surface it looks great. NXT is still better at swirl hiding, but reflections looks better.

As additional comment, I am surprised of how many people like NXT but have ignored the other 3 retail products that are as good or better (reflections, turtle ultra, nanowax)

    Just a newbie comment

I haven`t used NXT I use Reflections and I don`t think it can get much better than that, I Think most of the good compaines have pretty much maxed out on improving their waxes.

    (BTW Forrest

(even if they make me appear taller and slimmer)
