I bought an 86 Dodge Lancer from Florida, very nice original condition except the heat has dried the cloth interior. Is there a way to stop the dryness, it`s already torn in a spot on the back seat just from leaning on it.

01rt- IMO if the material has already be compromised like that then you really are looking at reupholstering.
Avoid getting it wet. I would use a damp towel or a foam cleaner. Got any pictures?`

Foam cleaner works for me but not all the time. I would like to know more too.
