Very Nice
I like that color a lot.
How was the paint condition? I haven`t had too much luck with Mustang paint.

I agree...that is a great color. I`d love to see Souveran on it.
My 2002 Mustang GT was a b@#$% when it came to correcting defects but I had almost no orange peel.

Paint conditon was pretty good, a little cobwebbing but nothing major. I think that claying and then using SSR1 is serious paint cleaning. SSR1 almost acts like secong claying process and that way the depth really comes through with a caranuba wax. PwC an Nattys are great.

Nattys looks terrific on that burgundy paint.

My future father in law speaks to a ford engineer locally who he`s friends with. The ford guy was telling him all about the process involved in ford`s paint usage.- for years at a time ford will test a particular color in all different climates, not just a simulated climate, but a real climate. They will send a painted panel to Alaska, Hawaii, New York etc. They study each sample of the color, and all the different companies versions of the color. It takes years before they decide to use a particular paint brand or color. So in reality the burgundy paint on that car has been on the decision board for about 3-4 years already before they decided to even use it on the production line. I am not a ford fan at all, (but I love their trucks) but I do give them thumbs up on their paint quality. It`s muuuuucccch better than the paint on my 350Z.
For some crazy reason, orange peel seems to be more of a factory installed option from Ford more now than ever. My current Expedition isn`t bad at all, but my 2003 F250 was covered as is my dad`s 04` Mach1. Actually, my dad`s was so bad that the dealer offered to repaint the whole car, and now it looks like it should.
