Yep, Autogeek Online appears to be . . . Online! Logged on with my original LID/PW and all is good (if we ignore how quickly the spammers have jumped in). Well done AGO admins.

I was able to log in, but the forum seemed to be even further compromised by trolls & spammers. Now its down again with a Work in Progress sign out ..
The key is your email address not your id. When you say want to reset your log in password, you have to provide an email address.

The Need to Bead
Yesterday THIS forum (Autopia) was unavailable for whatever reason.
SOOO, I thought the worst, and tried to register as a new member on Autogeek Online, but could not.
I got the message "not accepting new registrations at this time."
So what does that tell me??
(Edit: OK, now I know.. Too many spammers and trolls!!
Guess some things are not so "obvious " and I have lost my credentials as Captain Obvious!!)
Yes, this new owner group and its handling of both forums is getting a little disconcerting to me, as it is, I am sure, to you Autopians who frequent either of these two forum under their auspices.
Nor does this instill any confidence in their online detailing equipment and product supply business.
Not a conspiracy theory, just a Captain Obvious observation and opinion, for what it is worth.
I WOULD like to know if anybody has ordered any detailing items from AutoGeek recently and what that experience was like... Just Captain Obvious curious....

Seems AG wants to rely on spamming inboxes as a marketing plan. How companies think that is a marketing plan is beyond me.
