    The food was generally good but the reason why I'm giving them a 1 star review is because they refused to give me the AMEX platinum card discount despite the restaurant being a part of the AMEX love dining program. There were just too many restrictions (need to book directly with the restaurant 24 hours before, etc, etc). I never faced this problem with other restaurants under the AMEX love dining program before. I was told that other diners also faced this issue. They did not have to resort to marketing gimmicks to get more diners.

    The restaurant surely can afford a small birthday dessert or slice of cake but there wasnt. a small little treat for a special event is important for such an atas restaurant.

    Description

    Burger & Lobster was launched in Mayfair by four schoolmates in 2011. They had set out to open a restaurant focusing on perfecting the craft of just one or two main ingredients. Since then, Burger & Lobster have been bringing live, wild Atlantic lobsters and prime-cut Nebraskan burgers to fun and passionate personalities around the world who share their appetite for creativity. Simplicity is at the core of the Burger & Lobster concept, with respect for great food and quality service. With nine sites in London, two in New York, two in Singapore and a further seven in Bangkok, Malaysia, Doha, Hong Kong, and Kuwait City all restaurants feature live lobsters that are flown in from Nova Scotia, Canada, and beef from the cattle ranchers in Nebraska. The restaurants work tirelessly with the families that supply the ingredients to this mono-product offer to ensure the absolute best quality. (Nov 2023)
