Get up to speed with your Windows computer
- [Garrick] If you're a complete novice with computers, you probably experience some mild anxiety, or nervousness, or even dread every time you sit down in front of a computer. But computers aren't supposed to be scary or even challenging to use. All it takes is a little rudimentary knowledge and some practice to build your skill level to the point where you can open programs, browse the internet, and open and manage files. Hi, I'm Garrick Chow and welcome to this course on "Computer Literacy for the Windows Operating System." I'm looking forward to introducing you to what a computer is, explaining how to operate your system, how to work with applications, and even how to connect peripherals, like external storage drives and Bluetooth devices. I'm going to avoid technical jargon and present everything in easy to understand language, all while building your knowledge level from a foundation of the very basics. There's a lot to get through, so let's get started.
