- [Instructor] There are a few things you should know before starting this course. First thing, you should have a solid grasp of how to work inside of Adobe After Effects. If you don't, I highly recommend checking out the Adobe After Effects Essential Training course. Once you have that down, then this specific course is geared towards this third-party plugin from a company called Red Giant. If you go to redgiant.com, under the products you'll find Particular is a part of the Trapcode Suite. Here, in the Trapcode Suite, notice you can download a free trial that works completely well for, I believe, 14 days. If you don't have this, please download it. Check it out. Go through the course and you can decide whether you want to buy the entire Trapcode Suite or you could actually just buy the individual plugin. Here, if I scroll down through the website, notice there's Trapcode Particular. If I click on that, it'll take me to just Particular and that could be the one thing that you actually download or purchase. As long as you have a basic foundation of working inside of After Effects and you've downloaded and installed the Trapcode Particular plugin, you should be good to go.
