Viewing your hardware specifications
- [Instructor] When troubleshooting a performance problem in Windows 10, it can sometimes be helpful to review a machine's hardware specifications. There are a couple of different ways of doing this. If you're just trying to quickly figure out what the basic configuration is, then the easiest option is to click on the Start button, click Settings, click System and then go to About. And here we can see the device specifications. So here we see the PC name. You can see that the processor is an Intel Core i7, 10th generation at 1.3 gigahertz. We can also see that this machine has 32 gigabytes of RAM installed. So we get some basic system information. Now if you need more detailed information than what is presented here, then the thing to do is to click on the Device Manager link which you can see off to the right side of the screen.
