Configuring file history
- [Instructor] In this section I'd like to talk about configuring file history in a Windows 11 PC. Off the Start menu, I'll type in file and I'll see an option for File History, which is a Control panel, I'll click on that. It'll open up an interface that shows me that file history is currently turned off, and give me the option to turn it on. For me, it's giving me the option to put it on the E drive, depending on what drives you have available in your computer, you might see slightly different options, and on my E drive, I also have a lock icon that is unlocked, because I enabled this drive to use BitLocker previously, but whether you have the lock or not, you should be able to use the drive for File History. So I'll go ahead and click Turn On, and now we see that File History is on. It says it's copying files from Libraries, Desktops, Contacts, and Favorites. So I'm going to minimize this…
