— It seems I'm much better now. Says Bardock, feeling the energy return to his body.

— Mr. Bardock, Mr. Bardock! Shouts Berry, panting and with a sweaty face.

— Hm? It's you. Bardock responds, raising an eyebrow.

— It's just that... some aliens appeared in the village. Says the boy, almost out of breath after running to Bardock.

— I don't care. Bardock says coldly, looking away.

— But it seems they're looking for you, there are several men. Adds Berry, his eyes wide with fear.

— Looking for me? Bardock asks, intrigued.

— They're very scary and I have a bad feeling. Berry was saying when a loud noise interrupted the conversation.

— What was that? Bardock shouts, alarmed.

They look towards the village, which was being heavily destroyed. Berry looks visibly worried.

— It was those guys!! Mr. Bardock, please, save the people in the village. Berry pleads, kneeling before Bardock, who tries to break free, but the boy holds him, crying and begging for salvation.

— Please, please, Mr. Bardock, they're going to end up killing everyone in the village. Berry cries, tears streaming down his face.

— I don't care. Bardock tries to resist, but memories of his fallen friends invade his mind.

— Help me, Mr. Bardock, please, Mr. Bardock. As Berry spoke, Bardock remembered that since he arrived, everyone in the village, especially Berry, had treated him very well. Although Saiyans are cold and mostly cruel beings, they value the spirit of loyalty and camaraderie with those who help them.

— Rrrrr, let me go. Bardock says, breaking free from the boy, grabbing the bloodstained band of his friend Toma and flying away.

— Mr. Bardock... The boy asks sadly, watching his hero leave.

In the village, Chilled was destroying everything as if it were nothing.

— Time's up, haha! Let's stop playing Universal Police, it's massacre time. Chilled says, shooting everything around him.

— Ah, so that's what you wanted. Ipanna exclaims, trying to understand the situation.

— Hahaha, tormenting those you first relieved is much more fun, isn't it? Chilled says with a sadistic smile.

— Ah, you demon. Ipanna says, angry and powerless.

— Indeed, that medicine you were using, I intend to take it for myself. Chilled says with a greedy look.

— Hm, I'll never give it to you. Ipanna resists, determined.

— Hm, really? Then you leave me no choice. Chilled says, signaling his men to act.

— Haha, you're very foolish to try to oppose Master Chilled. Says one of Chilled's men, who is soon attacked by Bardock. The Saiyan warrior breaks the enemy's neck with a quick blow.

— Ah, Bardock. Ipanna exclaims, satisfied to see him.

— Bardock? Chilled asks, looking him up and down.

— Ah, you're the one who defeated Toby and Guiabira. He continues, with a tone of recognition.

— Ah, Frieza? Bardock exclaims, seeing the notable resemblance Chilled had with Frieza. It seemed that Chilled was an ancestor of Frieza, and Bardock had traveled back in time with the power gained from the Kanassajins, or Kanassanos, as they were known.

— Ah, Rrrrr, Frieza!! Bardock shouts, attacking Chilled with all his strength. Chilled retaliates with a powerful blow, pushing Bardock away and making his cape fly off.

— Damn you!!! Chilled exclaims, launching a counterattack. He hits Bardock, who scrapes the planet's sand and falls far away, raising a cloud of dust.

— Bardock!! Ipanna shouts, running towards his fallen friend.

— What incredible power! Bardock exclaims, surprised by Chilled's strength. He had never faced anyone from Frieza's family in hand-to-hand combat, not even his father, King Cold.

— How can a weakling like you dare to oppose the Great Chilled, you insolent fool. Says Chilled, approaching and stepping on Bardock's head, pressing his face against the ground.

— Frieza!!! Bardock continues to shout, with anger and pain.

— You keep saying Frieza, Frieza. How rude you are! Do you know who I am? I am the most powerful space pirate, the Great Chilled. Says Chilled, confident in himself.

— Chi-lled… Says Bardock, in great pain, while his face is pressed against the ground. "Did I come to the past? So he is Frieza's predecessor," Bardock thinks, trying to understand the situation.

Berry arrives very tired at the place where the village is destroyed and sees Bardock being tortured by Chilled.

— This is… Ah? Says Berry, seeing Chilled hurting Bardock.

— Don't do that!! Shouts Ipanna, trying to help, but is thrown away by an attack from Chilled's tail.

— Dad, dad!! Shouts Berry, running to help his father.

— Damn!! Exclaims Bardock, unable to do much in that degrading and humiliating situation for a Saiyan.

— Poor thing, frankly, how weak you are. Says Chilled, kicking Bardock away.

— Ah, I don't need any more weaklings. Says Chilled, preparing a power beam to launch at Bardock.

Berry and Ipanna, seeing that, become desperate. Berry shouts:

— Don't do that!! Berry pleads, while Chilled looks on laughing.

— Mr. Bardock!! Shouts Berry, crying and running towards him to save him.

— Kid, get out of here!! Says Bardock, trying to protect the boy from danger.

— You and your father are a nuisance. Says Chilled, hitting Berry with the beam and sending him flying. The boy falls unconscious and severely injured.

— Berry!! Bardock and Ipanna shout at the same time, in despair.

— Frankly, they are all trash. They got what they deserved!! Says Chilled, mocking and laughing at the situation.

As the dust settled and the cries of despair echoed through the destroyed village, Bardock, wounded and exhausted, looked at the sky, trying to find the strength to get up. Chilled, with a sadistic smile, watched his prey with eyes full of malice. Berry, unconscious and severely injured, lay beside his father, Ipanna, who struggled to stay conscious.

What will become of Bardock and the villagers? Chilled's cruelty seems to have no limits, and hope seems to fade with each passing second. Will Bardock be able to find the strength needed to face this relentless enemy? Or will Chilled triumph, leaving a trail of destruction and death?
